DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid, which is an international trade term indicating that the seller is responsible for all costs, including transportation, import duties, and taxes, up to the point of delivery to the buyer’s specified location. In essence, the seller assumes the maximum responsibility and risk in the transaction, ensuring that the goods are delivered to the buyer’s location ready for use, with all duties and taxes paid.
Why is there no DDP among my shipping options?
Because the freight company stipulates that only the total weight of the goods is more than 20KG, it can be transported by DDP, otherwise they refuse to transport it.
